Audiovisual AI Log

How it works

From scattered AI use to one production record.

Audiovisual AI Log gives productions a simple way to collect, structure, and export AI-use information across the whole project.

It’s a simple workflow built around the way productions actually work, and it sets up in under a minute.

  1. 1

    Create production.

Start with the basics: title, format, production type, and reporting needs. This creates the shared record for the project. Every survey, response, and export connects back to this one production, so the documentation stays organized from the beginning.

  2. 2

    Invite the crew.

Add the crew members who may have used AI in the production process, or invite the whole team for a more complete picture. Writers, editors, VFX, sound, production, marketing, and post teams can all report their own AI use in plain language. AI turns up in places you wouldn't expect, so surveying the whole production is the surest way to a complete record.

  3. 3

    Send a production-friendly survey.

Each contributor receives a short survey that asks what they used, where they used it, and whether the result ended up in the final production. The questions are designed for real production teams, not legal specialists. People answer only what's relevant to their role and their work.

  4. 4

Get a structured AI use record.

See one clear production record. Each reported use is organized by type, role, production area, and final-output relevance, making it easier to answer questions from commissioners, broadcasters, funders, legal teams, and internal stakeholders.

As the responses come together, every reported use is automatically sorted into one of three tiers:

    • Tier 1 · Not in final
    • Tier 2 · AI-assisted
    • Tier 3 · AI-generated

So the uses that carry the most weight are flagged in the record, without anyone judging them by hand.
