What data we collect

This is a marketing website. It has no user accounts and no checkout. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to submit through the early-access sign-up form — your email address, together with any optional details you add. Beyond the privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics described below, we do not collect any other personal data through the site.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use the email address and any details you provide solely to contact you about the Audiovisual AI Log pilot and early access. Our lawful basis under the GDPR is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing jack@availog.com, and we will remove your details.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of third-party processors to run the site and respond to sign-ups:

• Resend — email delivery. When you submit the form, your email and any details are processed and sent using Resend so we can be notified and so you receive a confirmation. Resend is based in the United States, so this involves a transfer of your data outside the EU and EEA.
• Vercel — hosting. The website is hosted on Vercel’s infrastructure, which processes the technical request data needed to serve the site.

Where data is transferred outside the EU and EEA, that transfer is made under appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep the details you submit for as long as we may want to contact you about Audiovisual AI Log and related updates. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will. To do so, email jack@availog.com.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies, and it does not show a cookie-consent banner because none is required. To understand aggregate usage — such as how many people view a page — we use two privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tools: Umami and Vercel Web Analytics. Neither tool uses cookies, tracks you across other websites, or identifies you as an individual. They record only aggregate, anonymous usage.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
• have your data erased;
• restrict how we process your data;
• object to our processing;
• receive your data in a portable format (portability);
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
